The attorneys for Nickelson and Caddo Sheriff-elect Henry Whitehorn have been given deadlines by which they must file briefs to further argue their case.
It is the final stretch of the campaign. Two candidates are vying for one of the most powerful law enforcement jobs in the ArkLaTex, Caddo Parish Sheriff.
