SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - On Saturday, May 3, polls opened at 7 a.m. and closed at 8 p.m.

When the voting was over, the mayoral term limits proposition easily passed with 84% of the vote. The council term limits proposition also passed with 83% of the vote.
According to the State Bond Commission, these propositions will take the place of the term limit propositions that were passed in March.
