SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Two brothers accused in the case of a pharmaceutical delivery driver being shot and killed in a Walgreens parking lot in Shreveport are now facing new charges.

On Friday, Aug. 8, Acting U.S. Attorney Alexander Van Hook announced that a federal grand jury has issued a superseding indictment against the two brothers.

Kevin Terrell Lewis (AKA Kelvin Lewis), 38, of Arlington, Texas, and his brother, Larry Dewayne Lewis, 44, of Shreveport, were bother charged in July with robbery and conspiracy to use, carry, brandish, and discharge firearms during and in relation to a crime of violence, the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Louisiana reports. The superseding indictment claims on Jan. 22, 2025, the brothers helped each other steal prescription drugs and a work van in possession of the victim, Billy Jamison. During the incident, Jamison was making a delivery from the Hackbath Company to the Walgreens at the corner of Line Avenue and Kings Highway in Shreveport. The new indictment says the brothers helped each other and knowingly used a gun during the robbery, causing the death of Jamison.

The indictment further claims that on or around Dec. 23, 2024, the brothers also helped each other steal around $500 in cash from the owner/manager of the Pull-Up Liquor, located in the 5600 block of Hearne Avenue. The robbery reportedly happened as the owner was closing the store and walking to his car in the parking lot.
