Tour of new Live! Casino in Bossier City unveils gaming floor, restaurants and more

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - The grand opening date for the new Live! Casino in Bossier City is getting closer, and on Thursday (Feb. 6), KSLA got a special sneak peek of the $270 million property.

The casino is set to open to the public Thursday, Feb. 13 at 8 p.m., pending final approval from the Louisiana Gaming Control Board.

During the media tour, KSLA was able to see the hotel rooms, the casino gaming floor, restaurants, meeting rooms, entertainment venues, and local artwork that has been installed.

To celebrate the grand opening, the casino will host a fireworks show at 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 13.

Officials at the casino say they’re currently training more than 800 new employees so they’ll be ready for guests on opening night.

The hotel features 255 king rooms, 267 queen rooms, 23 suites, and five penthouses. Services at the hotel include high-speed Wi-Fi, valet parking, complimentary self-parking, and complimentary EV charging stations. There’s also a pool, fitness center, DraftKings Sportsbook, and an RV park.

DraftKings offers guests betting offerings and options, including live wagers and player proposition bets. There’s also a media wall so guests can watch multiple games live at once.
