CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A Vivian man was arrested early Wednesday morning during a traffic stop after Caddo deputies reportedly found illegal drugs in his possession.
Deputies say 35-year-old Rondey James Thomas was traveling on Roy Road when he was stopped for a speeding violation. That's when authorities discovered Thomas had an active arrest warrant for simple battery.
During a consensual search of Thomas' vehicle, deputies reportedly found more than half a pound of suspected marijuana.
Thomas was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for speeding, simple battery and possession of marijuana.
