Shreveport man who killed grandfather learns prison sentence

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - A man accused of killing his grandfather over a video game has been sentenced.
Twenty-two-year-old Terry Cooksey confessed to beating his grandfather to death inside of their Shreveport home back in April of 2007.
Police say Arthur Busby laid on the floor suffering for four days after the beating. He died when he got to the hospital.
Cooksey was given a mandatory sentence of life in prison.
