HEMPSTEAD COUNTY, AR (KSLA) - The Hempstead County Sheriff's Office has requested help from the United States Marshals Service in locating a man charged with attempted murder.
John Lyndell Hill, 56, of Blevins is accused of shooting at a vehicle on Aug. 10 near the intersection of Highway 29 north and Highway 332 east, according to HCSO.
While investigating, officers learned that several people aided John Lyndell Hill in evading capture.
The following have been charged with hindering apprehension:
- Albert Dupuis, 50 of Blevins
- Branchie Hill 32, of Hope
- Tad Hill, 29 of Hope
- Shelli Hill, 39 of Delight
- Reid Hill, 58 of Blevins
All but Dupuis remain in custody at the Hempstead County Jail awaiting a first court Appearance. Reid Hill is also charged with possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation.
Investigators believe hill may have left the state.
HSCO, Arkansas State Police and the United States Marshals Service are searching for Hill's whereabouts.
