2 injured in crash on Hwy 71 near Texarkana

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) - The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating after two people were injured in a wreck on Highway 71. It happened around 8 a.m. near Red River.
Authorities say two vehicles were traveling south when the vehicle in the passing lane attempted to pull over into the inside lane. When the driver realized there was a vehicle in his blind spot, he attempted to pull back over and was reportedly clipped by that vehicle.
Both vehicles rolled over.
The highway is currently open to traffic.
KSLA News 12 was told the victims are from Little River County, however, they have not been identified.
