Man allegedly steals cell phone from store

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is asking for help identifying a man accused of stealing a cell phone.
It happened July 24th at the Valero on East 70th Street.
Police say the victim accidentally left his cell phone on the counter after making a purchase.
It was only moments later after leaving the store did the victim realized he had forgotten his phone, he returned only to find out it was taken.
The suspect was captured on camera reaching under the credit card machine and taking the victim's phone.
The suspect was said to be accompanied by a female, police say both drove away from the store in an older model white car.
