Three in custody after traffic stop leads to standoff

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Three people are in police custody after a traffic stop led to a standoff Tuesday morning in Shreveport. The incident started around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Cliff and West 62nd Street.

Police attempted to arrested three people when two of them, a man and a woman, fled to a nearby home. One male, who stayed on the scene, complied and was taken in for questioning.

The nearly two-hour-standoff ended peacefully after both people surrendered. They were also taken into police custody for questioning.
