SPD: Man wanted for nearly knocking woman's teeth out

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport Police are searching for a man accused of hitting a woman following an argument Monday, August 6. It happened just before 2 a.m. on Line Avenue.

At some point during the argument, Clarence Ruffin, 32, punched the victim several times in the mouth. Police say Ruffin hit the woman hard enough to knock her teeth loose, requiring her to need braces and stitches.

Investigators have obtained a warrant for Ruffin, charging him with one count of 2nd Degree Battery.
