Man suspected of shooting at wife's car as she drove away
HEMPSTEAD COUNTY, AR (KSLA) - A Southwest Arkansas man is wanted for allegedly shooting at wife's car, hitting it several times, as she drove off.
The domestic dispute happened Friday near Blevins, Ark., the Hempstead County Sheriff's Office reports.
Now authorities are looking for 55-year-old John Lindell Hill, of the 200 block of Hempstead County Road 256.
They say they have warrants to arrest him on charges of third-degree domestic battery, attempted murder, aggravated assault on a family or household member, terroristic act and possession of firearms by certain persons.
Arkansas State Police, Hempstead County sheriff's deputies and members of the Hope, Ark., police special response team searched the area for Hill after the alleged assault.
They also went to his residence about 3 miles east of Blevins, but he was not at home.
Hill stands 5'10" tall, weighs 190 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities urge anyone with any information about Hill to call 911 or their local law enforcement agency.
