Mount Pleasant police release name of suspects connected to burglary, chase

MT. PLEASANT, TX (KSLA) - Police have named three men connected to an early morning burglary in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Xaverone Thomas, 22; Alexander Thomas, 23; and Deandre Clark, 21 all of Fort Worth have been taken into custody.
It happened just before 6 a.m. Friday when police say the suspects broke into the Family Dollar on the 1200 block of North Jefferson street.
Officer say when they arrived the suspects attempted to flee in a vehicle resulting in a short police chase.
During the pursuit, the driver lost control of the vehicle leaving the roadway, police say.
One of the suspects was captured immediately, the others were detained after a large search.
Authorities say they were found hiding under a house several blocks away from where the driver of the vehicle lost control.
This is an ongoing scene and investigation.
