Bossier Parish sheriff's investigators pinged a missing man's cellphone and tracked it to the Yazoo City, Miss., area.
"That's just his phone, not him" sheriff's Lt. Bill Davis said.
And family members of 32-year-old Shawn "Corey" King told KSLA News 12 that they have used an app to track his truck.
It showed the 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe to be parked somewhere in Mississippi, they said.
King, of the 2000 block of Chelsy Drive in Benton, stands 5' 8" tall, weighs 128 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.
He last was seen about 8:30 p.m. Friday at a gas station near Louisiana Downs in Bossier City.
King was in his black Tahoe with Louisiana license plate 914AVZ.
Authorities have said that he also might be riding a black and silver 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
King also is known to have ties to DeSoto and Sabine parishes.
Anyone with any information about King, the Tahoe or the motorcycle should call the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office at (318) 965-2203, authorities said.
Or call 911 or your local law enforcement agency.
