Man and teen arrested for robbery
Donta Carson, 19, arrested and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Aggravated Robbery.

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) - The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested a man and a teenager for aggravated robbery Wednesday morning.

It happened around 10 o'clock at an apartment complex on West 15th Street.

Police say the victim was sitting in her car when a 16-year-old male opened the passenger door of her vehicle and got inside.

He then reportedly pointed a handgun and asked for all her money.

The victim told police at the time of the robbery she noticed two other men standing behind her vehicle.

Investigators say when she gave the young male inside the vehicle her purse; the two men standing outside ran away and got into a small white car.

Upon arrival, the responding officers saw the same white car driving away from the apartment complex.

One of the men inside was identified as 19-year-old Donta Carson.

The white car in which the men were driving was reported stolen just a day before.

Carson was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Aggravated Robbery, and the juvenile was arrested for Aggravated Robbery.

Carson's bond was set at $25,000 for Aggravated Robbery and $10,000 for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.
