SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - A horse sustained minor injuries in a wreck that temporarily closed part of Interstate 20.

It happened late Sunday morning on westbound I-20 in west Shreveport.

The trailer in which the horse was being transported came unhitched from the truck that was towing it, authorities said.

That, in turn, caused the trailer to hit another truck and flip on its side.

The wreck forced the closure of the center and left lanes of I-20W.

The center lane was reopened after about 40 minutes.

All lanes were back open as of 12:55 p.m.

The injured horse was taken to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office barn.

And at last report, authorities still were looking for the driver of the truck that was towing the horse trailer.
