Authorities ID man who died a day after he was shot in head

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Authorities have identified the 42-year-old man who died as a result of a shooting Sunday afternoon.
The Caddo coroner's office says he is Shededrick Jackson, of Shreveport.
A 15-year-old male also was wounded in the shooting at 4:29 p.m. Sunday at Jewella Avenue at Jackson Street in Shreveport, according to Caddo 911 dispatch records.
Officers found a Hyundai Elantra parked on Jackson Street and facing east, police Cpl. Marcus Hines said.
Shededrick Jackson was in the car suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.
The 15-year-old male had been shot multiple times.
Shededrick Jackson died at 2:55 p.m. Monday in a Shreveport hospital, according to the coroner's office.
