SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - A man accused of sexually attacking an 11-year-old girl in 2016 was found guilty of third-degree rape of a victim under the age 13 in a trial in Caddo District Court.

Raheem Hassan Singleton, 22, was convicted Tuesday, by a jury in District Judge Katherine Dorroh's courtroom.

His reportedly attacked the girl on October 5, 2016.

Singleton returns to court in August, right now he's facing a sentence of up to 25 years at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
