SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The worldwide leader in sports plans to put a Shreveport restaurant on the map.

Monday ESPN was in town at Herby K's shooting for a new show on its SEC network.

Producers with ESPN say it's part of an effort to showcase different restaurants in the south that sports fans and food lovers enjoy.

"We're going to different towns in the South and looking at restaurants: old restaurants, new restaurants. Here in Shreveport, we're looking at, as you can see behind me, Herby K's. We're trying to get into the idea of what it is about joints and dives that people love," said Executive Producer Wright Thompson.

No word on when Herby K's will be shown on the SEC Network.

Producers say they are still working on a show title for the project.
