1 dead after Shreveport shooting

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead late Monday night.
Police responded to a report of shooting just before 11 p.m. in the 900 block of Mitchell Lane.
When officers arrived they found a man lying in the front yard of a home with several gunshot wounds.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators were on scene to collect evidence and speak with witnesses who heard gunshots in the area.
