SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The Caddo Parish Coroner has identified both of Shreveport's latest shooting victims.

According to the coroner's office, Robert Lee May, 61, of Shreveport died at the hospital after he was shot on Gordonia Drive. Earlier Monday, the coroner's office identified Joshua Musgrove, 21, of Shreveport as the victim of a shooting at the Aspen Apartments on Baird Road.

Police tell KSLA News 12 that both shootings are not connected.

The first shooting was reported at 9:05 p.m. Officers investigated reports of a dispute and gunshots. They then found a man in a unit at Aspen Apartments in the 9700 block of Baird Road. Musgrove was pronounced dead at the scene.

"We are investigating this as a homicide," Willhite said.

Authorities have taken a female to police headquarters for questioning. No one has been arrested.

About 11 miles north of the first shooting, another shooting was reported at 9:38 p.m. in the 3000 block of Gordonia Drive.

That's between Hilry Huckaby III Avenue and Havana Street.

It's there where authorities found May. May had been shot several times, including in his upper body.

May died at a Shreveport hospital.
