2 accused of animal cruelty after 3 dogs die

TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) - Authorities in Texarkana, AR are investigating after three dogs found abandoned in a home died.

According to animal control officers, two people were arrested after dogs were found dead in a house on Dudley Street in Texarkana, AR. A third dog was found and later died in a veterinarian's care.

The animal control officer says the dogs were left for at least five days without food or water after the pair arrested claimed they forgot to feed them.

The dogs were found when crews were responding to another call of another dog who was loose.

Magan Terry and Brandon Woody were arrested and charged with animal cruelty.
