NATCHITOCHES, LA (KSLA) - A 6-year-old boy is among the three people who died in a fire early Saturday morning in Natchitoches Parish.
Killed were 53-year-old Keith McHellen, 45-year-old Nelsoener Bush and 6-year-old Issaiah Brown, the Natchitoches Parish coroner's office said Monday.
Someone called 911 at 3:06 a.m. Saturday to notify the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office about the blaze that destroyed a mobile home fire in the 1800 block of Clark Road.
That's about four miles north of the village of Clarence and less than six miles east of the town of Campti.
The bodies of the two adults were found in a bedroom on the north end of the mobile home, the Louisiana fire marshal's office reports.
The boy's body was discovered on the west side of the structure.
Authorities are awaiting results of autopsies.
The fire is being investigated by the sheriff's and coroner's offices and the Louisiana fire marshal's office.
