SPD names alleged gunman in Saturday's shooting

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police have named an alleged suspect in Saturday's shooting that left one pregnant woman fighting for her life.
Police are searching for 18-year-old Nazavion Chatman. A warrant for his arrest has been issued, charging him with two counts of attempted second-degree murder for his alleged role in Saturday's shootings.
It happened just before 9 o'clock on Mertis Avenue near Stonewall and San Jacinto Avenue.
According to Corporal Marcus Hines, a pregnant woman was shot in the stomach area and a male victim was shot multiple times.
The woman is in critical condition while the man is expected to be okay.
Chatman's bond has been set at $500,000.
