Man wanted for allegedly hitting his ex-girlfriend in the head

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department is looking for a man accused of hitting a woman he was romantically involved with.
Police say Charles Washington, 44, allegedly used a stick to hit his ex-girlfriend in the head and on the shoulders.
It happened on Milam Street; although the victim was injured, she is expected to be okay.
Investigators have issued a warrant for the arrest of Washington, charging him with one count of Aggravated Battery.

No bond has been set yet.
