SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - From cooking in the kitchen to lights, camera, action.

Shreveport's Proud Mary 360° Grill is getting its own reality television show.

"It's about Panderina in search of fresh foods throughout the state of Louisiana. Things that are germane to Louisiana. We are going to go everywhere," said Michelle White-Lafitte, the restaurant's marketing director.

She and Executive Chef Panderina Soumas are the show's main attractions.

"Now, I understand Mr. Pearman wants me to catch a pig. I've never caught a piglet before … in Versace," Lafitte said.

The show's creative director, Christopher Pearman, is the glue that brought the two together.

"It's mostly their antics of how they go out," said Pearman, father of television star Raven-Symoné. "We want to involve all Louisiana residents to submit their recipes. And we'll come out, try their recipes and bring it back,"

Once the recipe is brought back to the city, the trio says it will be up to the customers to choose whether it's worthy of Shreveport's stamp of approval.

"When Chef Panderina comes back with the recipe that she's found out, and we film her preparing it, there's going to be a table chosen at random to taste it," Pearman said.

"They either give it a thumbs up, where the kitchen goes 'Yay', or a thumbs down where the kitchen goes 'Damn'."

The show will give people another reason to dine at the restaurant in the Red River District, Lafitte said.

"It was initially called the Red River Entertainment District. And there were several things that led to its demise.

"But we're gonna bring it back, and it's gonna be entertaining again."

Production of "Panderina" will begin in August.

The show will stream on the Fusion food network on Roku.
