SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport investigators are searching for a man who they say was captured on video burglarizing vehicles back in late April.
On April 21 just after 2 p.m., a man was captured on home video trying to enter at least four cars in the 800 block of Columbia Street.
When he found that all the doors were secured, he reportedly grabbed what appeared to be a brick and threw it through a car window. Police say the suspect then took a purse and ran.
Investigators released the video and received a tip from Crime Stoppers that helped them identify the person they believe responsible for the burglaries as 17-year-old Jalan Adger, of the 200 block of East Dalzell Street.
Investigators got a warrant for Adger charging him with simple burglary. His bond is set at $20,000.
Anyone with any information on Adger's whereabouts is asked to contact Shreveport police or Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
