Crime Stoppers offering $5,000 reward for info about Sabine homicide

MANY, LA (KSLA) - Crime Stoppers is offering a $5000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for a homicide that happened on June 18 in Sabine Parish.

The Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Lynnquithis Lee January was killed at the Apollo Apartment Complex in Many, LA shortly after 10:30 p.m. while sitting in a breezeway.

January was reportedly shot multiple times in the face and body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies believe the person responsible arrived at and left the complex on foot. They are described as a man with a thin build who was wearing a dark-colored hoodie. He was reportedly seen by several people who were in the area.

Deputies say any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be helpful in leading to the arrest of the gunman.

Information should be given to Crime Stoppers at 318-256-4511 and callers will be provided a code number. Anyone with any information can also call the Sabine Parish Sheriff's Department at 318-256-9241.
