DOYLINE, LA (KSLA) - Authorities are investigating another series of suspicious fires in Northwest Louisiana.
All three occurred within walking distance of one another in the Webster Parish village of Doyline.
Investigators with the Louisiana fire marshal's office think they are connected.
But they definitely are unrelated to a series of suspicious fires the state is investigating in neighboring Bienville Parish, said Ashley Rodrigue, spokeswoman for the state fire marshal's office.
- April 8: A blaze destroys an abandoned RV in the 3900 block of Louisiana Highway 163.
- June 2: Fire damages a vacant wood-frame residence in the 100 block of Belaire Drive.
- June 23: Another abandoned residence is set on fire, this one just 10 feet from where the RV burned.
Authorities urge anyone with any information about the fires to call the state fire marshal's toll-free arson hotline at (866) 946-1097 or submit information via the office's website, lasfm.org.
