City-wide prayer vigil planned for Thursday

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department's Pastors On Patrol will be holding a city-wide prayer vigil tonight, and everyone is invited.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. at Airport Park Recreational Center, 6500 Kennedy Drive.
"There will be a time of praise and worship with the Airport Park Community Choir as well as a time of prayer for peace in our city," read an email from Shreveport Police Department.
Police officers, administrators, and city leaders will be at the event.
