Dead dog found at woman's home; police charge her with cruelty to animals

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - A Bossier City woman is behind bars after police found a dead dog at her home on Wednesday.

Latoya Hall, 30, is charged with one count of cruelty to animals.

Bossier City police officers were dispatched to Hall's residence in the 1300 block of Burchette Street regarding a dead dog.

Officers learned that she had been in the care of the animal for the last few weeks.

No bond has been set.
