BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Bossier City police have identified the person who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon.
Police say 73-year-old Kathryn Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of Airline Drive and Interstate 220.
Police say 53-year-old David Sigle of Mooringsport, LA was driving a red Ford Focus on Airline drive northbound in the lane to turn onto I-220.
Witnesses told police that's when Sigle ran a red light and was struck by an oncoming white Lincoln Aviator that was southbound on Airline Drive.
Johnson, also of Mooringsport, was in the front seat of the Focus.
Sigle was cited for running the light, but no impairment is suspected in the crash.
