BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Several Walmart Supercenters across Louisiana will get upgrades and a Shreveport-Bossier location is one of them.
Bossier City's Supercenter will get upgrades designed to save customers time and money, according to a news release.
"Our Louisiana customers tell us they want to save time, so we are excited to bring them new convenient ways to shop and give them valuable time back," said James Winchester, regional general manager of Louisiana and Mississippi Walmart stores, in a news release. "From remodeling several stores to rolling out innovative, time-saving technology like Walmart Pickup Towers, Walmart Online Grocery Pickup and several new features on the Walmart app, shopping has never been quicker or more convenient."
A Walmart Pickup Tower allows customers to pick up their online orders in less than a minute by scanning a barcode on their phone.
Online grocery pickup is a free service that allows customers to order items online and then pick them up at the store while never leaving their vehicle.
A Chalmette Walmart was recently renovated. two stores in Lake Charles will be renovated as well as Slidell and Metairie stores.
