1 dead, 1 seriously wounded in Shreveport shooting

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of one person and seriously wounded another early Friday morning.

Police say they got a call that anywhere from 4 to 15 gunshots were heard by neighbors just after midnight in the 300 block of Robinson Place. When police got to the scene they discovered blood in an alleyway.

One victim was found in a yard on Robinson Place with a life-threatening gunshot wound, according to Shreveport police spokeswoman Cpl. Angie Willhite.

Police say another victim was driven to a Shreveport hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound. That victim was later pronounced dead.

Both victims were men.

No arrests have been made.

The shooting is under investigation.
