SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Crews will close a portion of I-20 westbound near downtown Shreveport starting at midnight on Sunday, May 20.

The closure is expected to last six hours to remove an overhead sign that spans both lanes of I-20 westbound. The truss is located near the overhead flyover ramp from LA 1 northbound ties into I-20 westbound (just east of the Line Avenue/Common Street interchange).

The work is expected to last six hours, weather permitting.

All I-20 westbound traffic will be detoured onto I-220 westbound in Bossier City. The on-ramp from US 80 to I-220 westbound will be closed in Bossier City.
