(KSLA) - The jury in the Adam Densmore trial has returned a guilty verdict in the death of the mother of his child, Ashley Mead.
He was charged with one count each of first-degree murder, tampering of a corpse, abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence.
Densmore, a Bossier native, dismembered Mead, then put her remains in several suitcases in and around the ArkLaTex.
Densmore was sentenced to life in prison.
Investigators say that Mead, who lived in the Shreveport-Bossier area with Densmore, was killed in Boulder, Colorado in February 2017. He then took her body to his parents home in Haughton, dismembered her remains and placed them in suitcases.
Mead's torso was discovered in a purple suitcase in a dumpster behind a Walmart in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. However, all her remains have not been found, and the rest of her remains could be anywhere between Louisiana and Oklahoma.
