3 in custody after stolen car recovered

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Three people are behind bars after police recovered a stolen car in Shreveport Wednesday morning.

Police were responding to a shots fired call just after midnight in the 400 block of Jordan Street when they noticed people running away.

Officer caught up with 19-year-old Tradarryl Taylor standing next to a stolen 2013 Toyota Camry. After searching him police say they found the key to the car in his front left pocket.

According to police records, 17-year-old Jalen Adger and another minor were also arrested in connection with the incident.

Both Taylor and Adger were charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police recovered at least two handguns from the scene, according to police records.

The case is under investigation and more charges and arrests are possible.
