PLAIN DEALING, LA (KSLA) - After a Bossier Parish woman claimed to be in fear after saying a panther killed her wild hogs and neighbor's animals — the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries say that it wasn't a panther.

A Bossier Parish woman claimed a panther killed five of her family's wild hogs and murdered her neighbor's cat.

All of the animals were found ripped apart, with their body parts spread out in various areas of their block.

However, Maria Davidson, a large carnivore expert with LA says that after investigating — wasn't a panther that did this.

Davidson says it was more than likely a dog that killed the animals.

A neighbor reportedly caught the Panther on camera, along with photos of paw prints.
