BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Bossier City Police now think a teen is responsible for killing a man earlier this week.

Detectives arrested 17-year-old Devonta Davis, of Bossier City, with second-degree murder Tuesday night in connection with the shooting death of Juan Antonio Reyes after new information was found.

Zachary Decker, 26, was originally arrested for second-degree murder after detectives interviewed several witnesses including 42-year-old Timothy Paul Blake.

Detectives learned that Blake gave false information about Decker committing the crime.

As a result, Decker was released from jail while Blake was booked into Bossier City Jail on a charge of obstruction of justice.

Police say Reyes' roommate found him with a gunshot wound to his upper torso in his home in the 400 block of Montgomery St. at 12:50 Sunday morning.

Investigators think the fatal shooting may have involved drugs.
