HOPE, AR (KSLA) - A teenager is accused of slaying a Southwest Arkansas man.
Jaime Dominguez, 29, of Hope, Ark., died of multiple stab wounds after being found lying in the street in the 200 block of North Prichard Street about 10:50 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities arrested a 17-year-old on Tuesday on one count of first-degree murder.
Now the teenager, whose name authorities have not released, is being held in Hempstead County, Ark., Detention Facility while he awaits his first court appearance.
Relatives of Dominguez say he was fatally stabbed as he was trying to break up an argument.
They say it happened after some people drove up while he was preparing for a party.
An argument broke out and he was trying to separate those involved, his family members said.
