Homer woman arrested for using friend's identity to buy car
A Homer woman is behind bars after police say she used a friend’s personal information to buy a car.
Brittany Jones, 28, was arrested on Thursday, April 6 for purchasing a Chevy Tahoe in the victim’s name.
Authorities say the victim learned of the activity when the credit company called him about being late on his car payments.
The payments added up to $43,713.
Jones was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for identity theft.
