Miller County sheriff's detectives continue to investigate series of thefts

MILLER COUNTY, AR (KSLA) - After several thefts happened in Miller County, authorities are still searching for information.

Three incidents, an attempted burglary, and burglaries, near County Road 10 took place on Monday and Tuesday, according to a news release.

Miller County sheriff's detectives have identified some suspects and are working on the recovery of stolen items.

On Monday, thieves (or thief) tried to steal a motorcycle from a home in the 700 block of Miller County Road 403.

While attempting to get away with the motorcycle, thieves destroyed the front forks of the machine to get the bike to move.

Miller County sheriff's deputies were able to recover the motorcycle near the home.

The second and third incidents took place at the Richardson Waste Transfer Station in the 2900 block of Miller County Road 10. On Monday, several pieces of outdoor equipment were stolen from the business.

On Tuesday, the business was again burglarized when someone broke into the office area and stole multiple items.

Warrants are pending on multiple suspects.
