SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police have released a photograph of the person they believe is responsible for a shooting that left a man fighting for his life Monday night.
Authorities say 22-year-old Troy L. Davis, of Shreveport, is being sought on a charge of attempted second-degree murder.
The shooting happened just after 10:30 p.m. Monday at a home in the 3000 block of Hillcrest Avenue.
Police and a witness said shots were fired after Davis went to the home of 19-year-old Anthony Johnson and the two went outside and got into an argument.
Johnson was taken to University Health in Shreveport for treatment of what was described as a life-threatening gunshot wound to his chest.
Davis reportedly drove off in a red Ford Mustang low rider, police said.
Authorities ask anyone with any information about Davis to contact Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers by calling (318) 673-7373 or visiting the organization's website, lockemup.org.
