SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Officers responding to a burglary alarm at a Shreveport gas station early Sunday morning didn't have to look far for a suspect after a man fell off the roof of the building.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Kennedy Fast Mart in the 4200 block of Hollywood Ave.

When Shreveport officers arrived, they noticed the business had been burglarized.

That's when 35-year-old Tedrick Riley fell from the store's outside roof onto the ground and tried to run away.

Riley was taken into custody and charged with burglary.
