Robbery reported at gas station, clerk injured

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police are investigating a report of a robbery at a gas station/convenience store.

Authorities got a holdup alarm at the Citgo in the 2100 block of Greenwood Road at 9:42 p.m., Caddo 911 dispatch records show.

That's between the Interstate 20 interchange and Woodward Avenue.

A gunman cloaked in all black with a black mask entered the business demanding cash from the clerk, according to police.

After the cashier handed over an unknown amount of money, the suspect took off.

The male cashier was injured; however, police did not say how he was injured.
