Gunmen rob Shreveport hotel

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police are searching for the gunmen who robbed a hotel clerk Tuesday night.

It happened just after 10 p.m. at the Baymont Inn and Suites in the 5100 block of Monkhouse Drive near the Shreveport Regional Airport.

Police say the hotel clerk had just locked the lobby when 2 masked men began pulling on the front doors. They reportedly managed to open the doors and rushed inside.

Once inside, the men pulled out guns, demanded money and ran off, according to police. They got away with an unknown amount of money.

Police say one of the men was wearing a light camo hoodie, blue jeans and a mask. The other was described as wearing black jeans and a black mask. Both were believed to have had handguns.
