LOUISIANA (KSLA) - Early voting in Louisiana begins on Saturday, March 11 and ends on Saturday, March 18 at each parish's Registrar of Voters' office from 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Voting takes place each day except Sunday.

BIENVILLE
Shiloh Waterworks District Proposition
(Millage Renewal) 
Shall Shiloh Waterworks District of the Parish of Bienville, State of Louisiana (the "District"), levy a one and twenty-nine hundredths (1.29) mills tax on all property subject to taxation within the District for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2018 and ending with the year 2027 (an estimated $5,150 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining or operating any property, movable or immovable, of the Shiloh Waterworks System?

(Millage Renewal) 
Shall Caddo Parish Fire District No. 1, State of Louisiana (the "District"), continue to levy a special tax of fourteen (14) mills on all property subject to taxation in the District (an estimated $1,325,140 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2018 and ending with the year 2027, for the purpose of providing funds for purchasing fire trucks and other fire protection equipment, acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining and operating fire protection facilities and equipment of the District, paying the cost of obtaining water for fire protection purposes, including charges for fire hydrant rentals and services, and for salaries of firemen?

Proposition No. 1
(Library Millage Renewal) 
Shall the Parish of Natchitoches, State of Louisiana (the "Parish"), continue to levy and collect a special ad valorem tax of eight (8) mills on all property subject to taxation within the Parish (an estimated $2,600,000 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2018 and ending with the year 2027, for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, renovating, maintaining and/or operating public libraries in the Parish, including automation and other equipment, library materials and furnishings therefore?

Proposition No. 2
(Health Unit Millage) 
Shall the Parish of Natchitoches, State of Louisiana (the "Parish"), levy and collect a special ad valorem tax of three (3) mills on all property subject to taxation within the Parish (an estimated $975,800 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2018 and ending with the year 2027, for the following purposes: constructing, maintaining and operating public health units in the Parish and paying other General Fund expenditures of Natchitoches Parish; and expend up to $300,000 of unexpended revenues of health unit millages for General Fund expenditures of said Parish?

Shall the Parish of Natchitoches, State of Louisiana (the "Parish"), continue to levy and collect a special ad valorem tax of three (3) mills on all property subject to taxation within the Parish (an estimated $975,800 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2018 and ending with the year 2027, for the purpose of maintaining and operating public buildings in the Parish?

Road District No. 40 Proposition
(Millage Renewal) 
Shall Road District No. 40 of the Parish of Natchitoches, State of Louisiana (the "District"), continue to levy and collect a special ad valorem tax of five (5) mills tax on all property subject to taxation within the District (an estimated $1,105,600 reasonably to be expected at this time to be collected from the levy of the tax for an entire year), for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2018 and ending with the year 2027, for the purpose of constructing, improving and maintaining public roads and highways in the District?

Zwolle School District No. 61 Proposition
(Millage Renewal) 
Shall Zwolle School District No. 61 of Sabine Parish, Louisiana (the "District"), continue to levy an eleven and seventeen hundredths (11.17) mills tax (the estimated amount reasonably expected to be collected from the levy of the tax for one entire year being $326,700) on all the property subject to taxation in the District, for a period of ten (10) years, beginning with the year 2019 and ending with the year 2028, for the purpose of operating and maintaining public school houses and buildings and other school facilities in the District?
