Marshall police ask for help identifying suspect in Sweet Shop burglary

MARSHALL, TX (KSLA) - Marshall police are asking for help from the public to identify a suspect who broke into a convenience store last week.

Surveillance cameras at the Sweet Shop convenience store on W. Grand Ave. recorded the moments a burglar used a crowbar to break in through the front doors around 3:20 a.m. March 2.

Once inside, the masked thief rummaged around behind the front counter before making off with a trash bag full of stolen items. Police did not say how much, if any, cash was taken or what they believe was inside the bag.

Once outside, the suspect was met by an accomplice to make their getaway.
