TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) - One man is in police custody after attacking two people at a Southwest Arkansas fast-food restaurant.

It happened on Friday morning at the McDonalds restaurant on E. 7th street in Texarkana.

Police say that Cory Jackson entered the building and began to assault two customers allegedly with brass knuckles.

Witnesses told police that Jackson ran away after the incident. However, another customer inside the restaurant, Michael Corn, chased after Jackson and detained him until police arrived.

"I had to take him to the ground in a martial arts type of move," Corn said. "I put him on the ground and told him not to move. It is our job as citizens to sometime take action and the responsibility to get people like this and get them off the streets to get them the help that they need."

One man injured during the brawl was treated at the scene.

Police say that Jackson will be charged with second degree battery, harassment and criminal use of a prohibited weapon.
