Bossier deputy fired after DWI arrest

BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A Bossier deputy is out of a job after his arrest on a charge of drinking while driving Thursday night in Bossier Parish.
According to the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, 58-year-old John Jeter was pulled over in his personal vehicle on Highway 527 around 9:30 p.m. by Louisiana State Police who says he saw him swerving
The traffic stop resulted in Jeter being charged with DWI (first offense) improper lane usage.
Jeter, who has been with the BPSO since August 2010, was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility Thursday evening with a $1,200 bond.
